2011 - ...Like There's No Tomorrow
FEATURED ATHLETE: TOM DAY
Ski!
Coffee.
KT 22 (at Squaw). It's Fast vert, access a variety of challenging terrain, and has constantly changing snow conditions. Makes for a ong ski season.
Skiing free without a camera pack.
There are too many to have just one. It's always a gift to capture images in Vermont. Also Kinley Quinn singing a powerful version of "I am Able". And skiing with long time friends (Scot Schmidt and the Egan brothers) in Montana.
My RED camera. What beautiful images it can capture.
I think the season of 2020 showed us not to take chair lift skiing for granted. In a wisp it was gone. No matter what is thrown at us in the future we will need to work together, public and ski area owners, to make it work.
What I can't see changing is the thrill of the sport. The freedom of the experience, letting your mind escape for a bit and being totally immersed in the now. As long is there is snow, we will have that.
"Last of the Ski Bums" captured the essence of passionate ski bums, enjoying a season, traveling around the word to experience different mountains and friends.

What is your number one goal in skiing/riding right now?
Ski hard and fast, and be a positive role model for others on the mountain.

Really high old chairlifts freak me out.

By far, my best moment was a day we had in Silverado at Squaw Valley USA. We had the place to ourselves for the whole day. I got to go through my list of lines that I have always wanted to ski.

. . . Like There's No Tomorrow - 2011
The pressure is off. No one is watching. It's just you, your boards and the mountain. The weather has broken and the snow is untracked. The only sound is that of your breath, crystallizing in the winter air. There's only one place to go, but there are an infinite number of ways to get there. Adjust your gear, take a deep breath and . . . ski, shred, huck, bomb, launch, spin, charge . . . Like There’s No Tomorrow.
In the Fall of 2011, Warren Miller Entertainment released its 62nd winter sports film, Warren Miller’s . . . Like There’s No Tomorrow. Hosted by skiing icon Jonny Moseley and shot on location in India, New Zealand, Chile, Alaska, Norway, British Columbia and beyond, . . . Like There's No Tomorrow is your annual reminder that winter is on its way and, with it, four months of an adrenaline-fueled dance with gravity. Featuring world-class athletes, like Colby West, Julia Mancuso and Chris Davenport, . . . Like There’s No Tomorrow celebrates those who take on the mountains with an abandon that amazes and inspires us all.

FEATURED ATHLETE: JONNY MOSELEY

Can you tell us about some of the gear you were using in your segment with WME? I had Peak Performance outwear on, which is the best in the business. It's unbelievable how good their outwear is! I was also on a boutique monoski from Snowgunz. Furyskishop.com is a great place to check them out. They're all new technology and make mono a different experience pertaining to the board you choose. They are currently all made in France. Their freeride-mono videos are impressive: check them out: snowgunz.com.
Other than professional athlete, what is your dream job? Join a modern dance company.
Most memorable moment filming with WME this year? Well, I have to say that considering I was doing something extremely new: every day was an adventure. I finished my week of mono skiing bruised, concussed, and having met some of the raddest people EVER! I can't wait for next year's monopalooza!!!!! I would definitely say that when Scotty 2-Crowns dropped into Corbet's on his 55th birthday on a mono ski.... THAT was pretty much a highlight for me: "Fifty Five and still alive!!!!" he shouted!!
Your idea of a perfect vacation sans skiing? Easy question to answer: feet in the sand, waste-to head-high waves, warm water, baja fogs. BEST LIFE EVER.
Mantra to live by? Better to let it out and deal with the shame than hold it in and deal with the pain.

My little bro Nic, he is stepping his game up so he keeps me on my toes.
In lieu of our 70th film, what’s your most memorable or favorite Warren Miller film or segment – past or present?
I can't remember the movie but the segment they did the wingsuits in France I think was insane. It was when they were first coming out and the guy set a world record for the longest flight. I was a kid and my mind was blown!
What would you do if you won the lottery?
A seaplane for sure. I want to be able to park it right at my dock, pack up and fly anywhere I want.
Best meal you can cook?
TACOS!!!
Favorite chairlift and why?
High Campbell aka Chair 6 at Crystal, goes right next to an iconic cliff called Hollywood. Only in rare cases does it have enough snow to send it. I have been lucky enough to send it right next to the chair. Always fun to ride that chair and think about it every year.

Fictitious character you most identify with from a book, movie, etc. and why?
Shoot... no idea.
Highlight memory from filming with WME for this year's film?
The lodge we stayed at was extremely off the grid but massive. The whole story behind it was amazing as well. The family build it all and actually helped build the highway that connected the interior to Bella Coola. That alone was an awesome experience.
