Ticket to Ride - 2013

A ticket can get you anywhere in the world, from the chairlift at your local ski area to the top of Talgar Peak in Kazakhstan. It can put your heart in your throat as you fly over a knoll faster than you have all year, and it can put your mind at ease when you find yourself alone in a snow-covered Aspen grove with clear blue sky above and crisp cold air all around. A ticket is the end of reality and the beginning of a journey. And we've got one for you.

For our 64th annual ski and snowboard film, Warren Miller Entertainment presents you with a Ticket to Ride. Your traveling companions include some of the biggest names in big mountain skiing and snowboarding, including Chris Davenport, Scot Schmidt, and Seth Morrison. Park & pipe veteran Gretchen Bleiler throws down in Aspen proving “girls can look like girls and still rip.” An all-female cast of Jess McMillan, Julia Mancuso and Sierra Quitiquit explore the expansive terrain that is Iceland’s Troll Peninsula. Also featured are Sean Pettit, Mark Abma, and a gang of Olympic champions like Seth Wescott, and Ted Ligety – and that's just the beginning. Wait until you meet The Great Sensei of the Mountain ...

Filmed on location all over the world, including Montana, Switzerland, Iceland, Greenland, Aspen, Norway, Alaska, and some of our favorite mom-and-pop ski hills across the U.S., Ticket to Ride is the starting point for a season-long celebration of snow, and all of the people you'll meet along the way. If you need to feel the sting of winter in your lungs, the rush of adrenaline in your blood, and a range of mountains in your eyes, we've got just the ticket for you.
