Playground - 2007
There's a place surrounded by an invisible line in the snow, across which day-to-day reality cannot go; where the rules and regulations of a world structured by parents and bosses, spouses and teachers fall to the ground and melt away like a snowball dropped onto a cleared sidewalk in the sun. In this place, fun and challenge are the only objectives; play and freedom are the only rules, so for our 58th feature film, Warren Miller Entertainment heads back to our stomping ground ... the Playground.
Here, swing sets, seesaws, and slides are replaced by towering peaks, chute-laced descents, and kickers so big only kids have the courage to try them. Experience the famed ranges of British Columbia, Utah, and Alaska through the eyes of big mountain riders who see fun where others only see fear. Join young athletes as they tackle the slopestyle competition at the U.S. Freeskiing Open like it was some kind of video game come to life, where the risks are worth the rewards. And meet the locals in places like Aspen, Colo., where an entire community dedicates itself to making a Playground out of a town.
From the sands of Dubai and mystique of Japan, to the frigid northern reaches of Sweden, Warren Miller Entertainment follows the leading skiers of the freeride movement - like Jon Olsson, Sean Petit, Dan Treadway, Peter Olenick and others - on a journey to a special place where anything is possible on the side of a snow-covered mountain. Because, for more than half a century, we've found skiers and snowboarders in every corner of the globe ... and we found them all in the same place ... the Playground.

Can you tell us about some of the gear you were using in your segment with WME? I had Peak Performance outwear on, which is the best in the business. It's unbelievable how good their outwear is! I was also on a boutique monoski from Snowgunz. Furyskishop.com is a great place to check them out. They're all new technology and make mono a different experience pertaining to the board you choose. They are currently all made in France. Their freeride-mono videos are impressive: check them out: snowgunz.com.
Other than professional athlete, what is your dream job? Join a modern dance company.
Most memorable moment filming with WME this year? Well, I have to say that considering I was doing something extremely new: every day was an adventure. I finished my week of mono skiing bruised, concussed, and having met some of the raddest people EVER! I can't wait for next year's monopalooza!!!!! I would definitely say that when Scotty 2-Crowns dropped into Corbet's on his 55th birthday on a mono ski.... THAT was pretty much a highlight for me: "Fifty Five and still alive!!!!" he shouted!!
Your idea of a perfect vacation sans skiing? Easy question to answer: feet in the sand, waste-to head-high waves, warm water, baja fogs. BEST LIFE EVER.
Mantra to live by? Better to let it out and deal with the shame than hold it in and deal with the pain.

Metalica
There are so many to list but I would say Pontoon, Sphinx and Meteorite would be at the top. They are 3 of the biggest peaks in the Chugach, very esthetic and part of the "holy grail".
Being with my family and all our guests coming home safe and sound after experiencing the "best day of their life".
I am obsessed with flying my 180 Cessna Airplane. I am a true believer in Crossfit (Avalanche and Blizzard in Tahoe), mountain bike and of course spend a ton of time with my 2 year old Kinley Drake and wife Jessica
I had been visiting Valdez for years and knew I wanted to start a heli ski operation. There were over 5 operations in Valdez so I rented a fixed aircraft and flew the Chugach to Cordova where I saw the Orca Adventure Lodge. I knew this was the perfect location for a heli ski operation as it's 30 miles as the crow flies from Valdez but the only operation in Cordova. We truly have a chunk of the Chugach to ourselves. The Orca Adventure Lodge is the ideal setting, 2 miles from town located directly on Prince William Sound with the Chugach in our backyard. We are truly all-inclusive with 3 beautiful A-Stars out our front window, there is no driving up a pass to see if we are flying or not.
Skiing with Mitch Toelderer and Travis Ganong. These 2 guys have such great energy. It was pretty cool spending time in the Chugach with Mitch who has been coming to PNH for years and Travis who was a 1st timer in the Chugach.
