This fall, Warren Miller Entertainment will release “Long Underwear”, a podcast aiming to strip off the layers and get to know the skiers and snowboarders underneath the ski gear. Hosted by professional skier Amie Engerbretson, there’s only one rule: after introductions, there are no more mentions of skiing and snowboarding allowed.
On this podcast, we aren’t after the stories of the biggest lines skied or favorite pieces of gear. Not this time. This time, we want the embarrassing stories, the ones about the missteps and the mishaps. We want to know about the search for balance and constant quest to find adventures in the day-to-day. We’re looking to take an honest close up of all the goofy and beautifully unique angles of our mountain heroes.
In this season, Amie will talk to athletes in conjunction with the promotion of the Warren Miller film tour of Volkswagen presents, "Face of Winter". Athletes featured will include Forrest Jillson, Marcus Caston, Anna Segal, Dash Longe, Michael "Bird" Shaffer, Kaylin Richardson, and more.
The first episode is set to drop the week of October 22, 2018.
