Remembering Warren Miller

A giant in the world of filmmaking and outdoor adventure, the legacy of Warren Miller carries on.

Warren Miller changed countless lives with his undeniable passion for showing people that there is another way to live their life. In 1949, Warren followed his love for outdoor adventure and cinematography and released the first-ever ski film that he'd shot with his eight-millimeter movie camera. He was a 25-year-old kid from Los Angeles living in the parking lot in Sun Valley and his curiosity and love for chasing the freedom that gliding on the snow gave him impacted generations to come. We continue to honor Warren and all that did for filmmakers, snow riders, and dreamers around the world. His life was the stuff of legends.
