Fiddles and Freshies: WinterWonderGrass 2019

The annual event in Steamboat, Colorado was yet again, a success.

A combination of nights filled with snow flurries and a bluebird day on Sunday set the backdrop for the seventh annual WinterWonderGrass (WWG) festival that took place in Steamboat Springs, Colorado over the weekend of February 21 through 24. Like past years, the Warren Miller Entertainment crew was there to enjoy the music and Steamboat Resort’s fresh conditions with every part of the mountain open for skiing and riding. The festival has grown over the years and WWG added an East Coast festival to their roster by hosting an event in Stratton, Vermont in December 2018.

And with the option to hang out in heated tents, plenty of beverages and food to choose from and some of the best names in music present, the festival has become a winter staple for many. In Steamboat, artists like Trampled by Turtles, Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Lil Smokies, The California Honeydrops, and many others graced the stage with their presence. And yes, we rocked out.
