The Making of "Timeless" | Wiegele's Heli

By: Warren Miller Entertainment

When Austrian transplant Mike Wiegele landed in the mountains of Canada in 1959 in search of the world’s best powder, he had no idea the impact he would have on the sport of skiing. Now, 50 years after opening his own heli-skiing operation out of Blue River, British Columbia, and almost 50 years after Warren Miller first filmed there, Wiegele World has become a dream destination for skiers around the globe. Luckily for pro skiers Jim Ryan and Austin Ross, Mike and his staff, including 30-year guide Bob Rankin, continue to provide great powder and unforgettable experiences.
