PORTSMOUTH, NH (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) – The Warren Miller road crew has teamed up again with Petey’s Summertime Seafood and Bar to host a polar plunge at Wallis Sands Beach in Rye. The proceeds from the event will support the Portsmouth Rotary Thanksgiving dinner.

At high noon on Wednesday, November 23, the first 20 brave souls to take the plunge and donate a non-perishable food item will receive two free tickets to the 9 p.m. showing of Warren Miller’s Here, There & Everywhere at The Music Hall that evening (tickets and info).

“We’ve been doing this for a few years now and it’s always a hoot,” said Warren Miller Road Crew Manager Dan Ohnsman. “It’s a great cause and an awesome way to unwind a bit after a few long weeks on the road. Lobster and beer help, too!”

Petey’s Summertime Seafood and Bar (1323 Ocean Blvd, Rye, New Hampshire) will be hosting the “After the Plunge Party with the Warren Miller Road Crew," and will be offering a Soft Shell Twin Lobster Dinner for the special price of $22.99. 

Donations of non-perishable food items will go to the Portsmouth Rotary Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Nicholas’ Greek Church, where Ohnsman and the road crew will be volunteering the following day. Any additional items will be donated to local food shelves.

All who attend Here, There & Everywhere will receive free passes to Sugarbush, Smuggler’s Notch and Abenaki Ski Area, as well as a 2-for-1 deals at Gunstock Mountain Resort and Squaw Valley, and a special discount at Putnam’s in Portsmouth and L.L. Bean.

Here, There & Everywhere is showing at The Music Hall, in Portsmouth, on November 21 at 8 p.m., with two showings the nights of November 22 and 23 at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Click here for ticketing info.
