2025 Independent Promotions Program
**CLOSED** - We are closed for bookings until late Summer 2026, when we'll be releasing plans for our 77th film. Each year, we start from scratch and plan out our National Tour event locations/dates. Once those are locked, we approach our existing Independent Promoters (I.P.s) to inquire about their plans for hosting in their towns again. Once that process is finalized, we will open up available markets to new promoters. If you would like to be considered for your market, please fill out the information form via the link the bottom of this page so we can keep you in the loop for our I.P. process in 2026. We typically start outreach in late May and then open the program in late July. Please review the materials below to understand the basic workings of a show promoter based on our 2025 program (everything is subject to change as we adapt each year).

ABOUT: Each year, Warren Miller Entertainment (WME) and Outside Inc. produce a feature-length ski and snowboarding film. As "The Official Start of Winter", we are excited to showcase new locations, new skiers, new music, and new filmmakers for the 77th Warren Miller film. We're excited to launch into the future while collaborating with up-and-coming filmmakers as well as our tried and true filmmaking team here at WME.
WHAT: Our current program only supports presentations of our latest production. Older films are not currently licensable but we are working on making more of our classic content available.
WHEN: The film will be available for Independent Promoters after October 21, 2026. (For North American I.P. shows only. International availability varies by location).
HOW: Warren Miller Entertainment will provide promotional materials, including posters, flyers, press kits, photos, etc. You select the venue, place the advertising, gather sponsors, sell the tickets and run the show. WME is available for consultation but the arrangements and presentation are up to you! (More notes in the Help section below)
FORMAT: BluRay or DCP (We are currently researching ways to provide digital delivery however due to security concerns and quality of playback, we are offering BluRay as our only disc format.).
COST: Upfront guarantee (with a deposit) versus a percentage of Gross Ticket Sales, whichever is greater. We customize our contract costs based on your show's details. In order to give you a quote, we need to know the following: Show location, seating capacity, type of screening (public or private), number of showings, and ticket price. These details will give us a more accurate look at our upfront costs so we know what it will take to cover your show.

Things to consider after filling out this form:-How many seats do I think I can fill? (Average first year attendance: 300)-What am I using the show for? (fundraiser, charity event, profit, private event)-How much do I think I can/should charge? -Depending on show value, ticket prices range from $20-30-Add value to your show with sponsor offers, giveaways, etc.
