For the seventh year in a row, the WinterWonderGrass Bluegrass Festival (WWG) in Steamboat, Colorado was sold out. The eighth annual 3-day event organized by Bonfire Entertainment took place February 21 through 23, 2020 at the base of Steamboat Mountain Resort.

Hailed as one of ski season's most lively modern events, over 5,000 attendees turned out to enjoy the skiing, the town of Steamboat and the 20+ bands that performed over the course of the weekend. Craft beer, wine, mate tea, and spirits flowed, and the festival saw guests starting mid-day until late into the night. Gracing the stage and music tents this year included big-name artists like including Greensky Bluegrass, Billy Strings, the Bluegrass Generals, The Traveling McCourys, and Margo Price, as well as up-and-coming artists like Bowregard, who won the 2019 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest. Steamboat has a 300-inch base and conditions on-mountain were all-time for skiers and riders. 

 "The love poured in from all over the country this past weekend and exploded into an absolutely magical WinterWonderGrass Colorado experience,” says WinterWonderGrass founder, Scotty Stoughton. “The gratitude flowed from the audience to the artists to the mountains, and through the community. Feels like we are really hitting our stride and finding that more and more people are seeking this positive energy. Now we take the caravan to Tahoe and Vermont.”
