FEATURED ATHLETE: CONNERY LUNDIN
Marcus Caston. And anyone doing it with a fat smile on their face. The best skier is the one having the most fun.
Silverton Segment with Andy Mahre & Pep Fujas "Children of Winter" - 2008
Buy an island surrounded my warm water, zero sharks and a point break (preferably a left) for my friends and I to surf… duh.
Pasta allaarrabiata - my mom makes it better though.
KT-22 at Squaw Valley. From the top of KT you can access so much terrain.
Chicken Joe from Surf’s Up
Our last day filming in Silverton, CO. Right before dropping into the biggest line of the trip, Tom Day dangled out of the helicopter thousands of feet off the ground giving me a leg kick to signal cameras were ready. It was intense, scary and super fun. He nailed the shot too by the way!
If you look good you feel (and ski) good! I love my new Spyder kit, specifically the Sanction shell jacket and Turret GTX shell pant. Between the fit, color ways and GoTex Pro... this kit is the bomb. I also love Blizzard's Rustler ski and Tecnica's Mach1 boot. Without them I'd be a lost cause.
I love what the High Fives Foundation is doing. They give tremendous support to athletes from all sports that have sustained life-altering injuries (i.e. broken back, paralyzation, you name it). What these people can accomplish mentally and physically is so freaking inspiring.
Visualization. If it’s a high consequence line I’ll visualize my run anywhere between 10-50 times. I like to imagine every scenario, good and bad. Backup plans can be life saving. If I can confidently ski a line in my head, I can rip it in real life.
