Raised in Vail, Colorado, Claudia is a former competitive ski racer who later transitioned into park and big-mountain skiing, earning podium finishes at top-tier events like the Dew Tour, U.S. Open, LAAX Open, and Red Bull Cold Rush. In 2010, she stepped back from professional competition to attend medical school, eventually completing an Emergency Medicine residency. Now based full-time in Utah with her husband, Pit Viper co-founder Chuck Mumford, and their two young sons, she continues to shred with long-time sponsor Rossignol, as well as Pit Viper, Akova, and North Performance.
In DAYS OFF, Claudia joins Chuck and the Park City crew at Deer Valley Resort, leveraging a classic misunderstanding to enjoy a kid-free day while host Katie watches the group’s nine combined children (including Claudia and Chuck’s two boys).
